  • Towards the end of 1969, 7th Marine Units became engaged in the CUPP Program [Combined Unit Pacification Program] this was a variation of the combined action concept and involved the integration of a Marine line company with a Popular Force or Regional Force unit. Thus, Marines who served with the 7th Marine Regiment during the time period indicated, rate the citation.
