Arthur Brumagen [ extreme right in the photo]was a career Marine with 18 years of service. He had been recently promoted to the Officer ranks and given the command of a platoon with "Bravo" Company.

While on a Search and Destroy Operation called Rio Blanco, Arthur was KIA by a single small arms shot while awaiting the arrival of a Helicopter.
