We are gathered here today because of you…The Wall,
Not because we are Liberals or Conservatives,
But because of you…The Wall,
We are gathered here today to honor our brothers and sisters,
Our fathers, our children and all of "Our Brother's in Arms",
And because of what you represent in our lives.
The names inscribed on your slabs of Black Granite,
Have forever touched our lives, they reflect as a mirror,
For they have touched us all…as you have, The Wall.
I have come to see you Arthur not in flesh and blood, but,
To touch you…on Panel 12e Line 113…on…The Wall,
I have also come to see you Greg,..a brother I never knew,
And touch you.. on Panel 24w Line 81…on…The Wall.
Arthur it has been over thirty years when I last saw you…
Now you will be forever a part of The Wall|.
