227 Years and Always Faithful
Hope everyone is well and good. Happy Birthday to The United States Marine Corps. We are still the best as our brothers in Iraq have shown. I still hope to hear from some of other brothers in Iraq. Lets keep Lima 3/7 alive as long as possible.

I have a lot of things to do on the site, and am running out of Excuses to do so. Guess I will have to get busy. Hope everyone is well . Sorry I missed the reunion, send some photos for the site.

I promose to get them up before the next reunion.

Photo from Operation DeSoto, South Viet Nam

By Thomas L. Downey

My radio operator, PFC Stansbury, was always copying what I did. I grew a moustache, he grew a better one; I had a walking stick, he got a walking stick; I drew my wife's picture on my helmet cover, he couldn't draw, so he wrote his wife's name. (He needed a haircut.)
What the "well-dressed" artillery forward observer wears. I was saddled up with all my gear, readyto start back to Bn CP. The M-16 was borrowed from Lima's XO, Lt. Steve Sims.
