Welcome to the Homepage of the Dog Seven
Association.
The Association is no longer active.
As of the reunion held in Quantico, Virginia, October of 2011, the Association disbanded.
However, some activities will remain in effect until such time as the individuals responsible for them are no longer able to do so.
This website is one example as is the database of Marines and Navy Corpsmen who served with or were attached to D Company,
Second Battalion, Seventh Marine Regiment, First Marine Division during the Korean War … September 1950 though March 1955.
Another is the office of Secretary, the duties of whom now involve keeping former members of the Association informed of informal
activities and of the welfare of former members. The means of informing the membership will be either e-mail or postal service mail.
Yet another are ongoing plans to hold informal mini-reunions throughout the nation. These will be posted on the Reunions page as we
become aware of them.
We encourage you to visit this website and if you have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact either: Tom Cassis or
George Crotts
If you have information that may be of interest to the membership, feel free to contact
Don Smith
The links below are active, the Association History has been updated to include the final business of the Association as agreed to by a
majority of the voting membership both at the last membership meeting in October of 2011 or in prior membership meetings.
Do enjoy your visit.
