SEMPER FIDELIS!

"When you gaze upon the 'Wall', the black abyss,
your warrior past beholds it's rendezvous with eternity.
Do not fear the whispering mist;
destiny contemplates your fate."
This Vietnam Veterans forum is dedicated to those
who fought and died in the Republic of South Vietnam
so many years ago.
Please take a moment to pause, reflect, remember
and honor those men and women, their sacrifice and
each of the 58,195 Veterans Names
that are carved in the mirrored stone for perpetuity.
This sacred place of honor is our monument
to the price they paid for our freedom.
In silence there is sound.
It falls upon us to speak for the 58,195 who can not.
Make their voices heard.
Raise a glass this 'Special' Day to our brothers
who made the ultimate sacrifice.
From the rolling hills of Arlington
to the PunchBowl National Cemetery, Hawaii,
you will find thousands of cold granite markers.
These sacred fields warehouse the souls
who fell with Valor, Courage and honor.
Let your tears gently moisten the wreaths
and flowers as you kneel before these shrines.
Stand proudly and whisper
'Semper Fi!'--
