I spoke with Jim's wife this morning 8/15/03 and found out Jim passed away suddenly April 6, 2003.
He is intered at Arlington National Cemetary on Patton Drive. Grave ID can be looked up.
Jim was with Bravo 1/7 and was 3rd Plt Sgt. from 11-68 to 4-69 when he was wounded severely by an incoming 61mm mortar round when Bravo crossed the Song Vu Gia river.
Jim and I had many good times while in country and even after we were able to locate each other.
He will be missed.
