I was with H&S Company, Communication Platoon, 1st Battalion, 7th Marines, Chu Lai, Vietnam, from around August, 1965 to July, 1966. I was a radio operator - PRC-25. For part of the time I was with Alpha Company (the grunts didn't know how to operate PRC-6's) and part of the time with a forward observation squad with Delta Company - but most of the time with H&S. I don't remember your name but what the heck does that mean anyway. It's been a long time. I knew some of these guys - some names are nick names, others only the last name: Chopper, MacClusky, Dennis David Novak, Budd Kopp, Isham, Vern Connelly, Lt. Kangus, Webb, Dison, Kahl, Jarvis, Whitting, Fransworth, Graham... I would like to get hold of some of those in Alpha and Delta as well. I can't tell you why this is important now, but it just seems that it is.
