| For 5 years I've had numb feet with electric shock type pain that would wake me up at night. In the last year it has gone to my left hand then my right hand. I didn't see a doctor and had no idea what it was. In May 2005 I found out I have diabetes type 2. Now I've learned that the problem with my feet and hands is peripheral neuropathy. Imagine my surprise in August to stumble on the info that it's Agent orange related. I went through hell with the VA in the 70's with a claim for AO exposure and had no idea of the changes in the past 20 years. While in country with Fox 2/7 in July and August 1970, during operation Pickens Forest or Imperial Lake, we were exposed to Agent Orange less than 24 hours after it was sprayed. I am about to embark on an adventure of filing a claim with the VA. I was registered in the Agent Orange Registry established in the late 70's, but don't know if I'll have to start from scratch.
