There was two differnt ambushes that I know of at the pass . One involved a jeep making a mail run up the pass our XO was killed along with three other marines. The other ambush
was when our squad was ambushed and cpl Mitchell was hit we med evaced him out. They
both happened in 1967. I hope this can help you.
