Of the tropos sitting around here, half (by your calculations) have already served a year in Iraq, and the other half will be due to replace the ones now in Iraq in a few months. Which means we'll need a whole new force to send to Iraq in ~18 months.Plus all the other stuff the army does when it's sitting on its ass, whatever it is they do.
