I've been on a vigorous search for info. on my secound cousin who was KIA on 8/26/69. I finally discovered his unit; Echo Co., of the 2/7. His name was Gary Gray. Any info. on him and/or his unit would be greatly appreciated. From after action reports I gathered that the 2/7 was in the DaNang area, the Que Son district, in "Happy Valley", at FSB Baldy, FSB Ross, Hiep Duc Valley. From 21-27 Aug. an intense fire fight occured with 2 NVA regiments resulting in heavy casualties.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
