Those who work in international companies had a English name because it is a part of requirement from administration. A few (or few) may develop such an identity later through working in the top 500 companies proudly, but the majority use it to make communications with foreigner bosses easier. They don't fully take their English seriously. If they use their English after work while interacting with Chinese, they might be called Zhuangbi (装逼). Just like English, few Chinese are really amazed by such a language, but learn it to get a better job and make more money since it is the international business language.So, no need to be so confident in your culture.
