They don't need Delonte West to do anything relaly. They look solid enough without him that they don't need to rely on West coming back to win in the playoffs. Besides if they face the Lakers again, size is going to be a bigger X factor (since L.A. is so long at most positions) than an undersized SG playing out of position at PG like West anyway IMO. West basically vanished in last season's playoffs (averaging just 6.7ppg while shooting 16% from the 3 point line in 11 games), so if Boston is relying on the return of Delonte West to push them over the top in the post season I think they're going to be disappointed.
