I was an S-2 Scout for about six months with 1/7 having been reassigned from 2/26 as an S-2 Scout as well. Our unit was comprised of about 10 scouts but there was constant changes due to rotations and a 40% casualty rate. We didn't get to know the line grunts too well because we would not stay with one company for very long. There were days when we would be with up to three or four different line companies depending on the need for an interpreter since I was Vietnamese language trained. Does anyone know of someone named "Robinson" who was seriously wounded in an ambush. I think he was with Delta Company. Does anyone know if he survived?
