I am writing a novel with a character who enlists in the Marines in 1968 at age 17.
If there is anyone who would like to contribute with info that I can use (character basic training in Paris Island-rapid deployment to Vietnam-training for Special Forces-length of time served).
Character returns to Philadelphia and becomes a Homicide detective.
