Need infor on John from anyone who knew, served with, or was present @ his death. K.I.A. 08-12-1969. Was (H&S) @ time of death, Radion Co Com, Chief Radio Operator of Lt. Col. John A. Dowd. His C.O. had been 1st Lt Allen Weh. He was 1st Bn (1/7) B Co. Trained @ Camp Pendleton. Was there 1968-1969. He's in the book "death Valley" by Keith William Nolan. Need confirmation on all medals, citations, ribbons. Need his platoon book & any pictures of him you may have. Very tall, black hair, brown eyes.
