| On the subject of eledlry parental eating My dad was caught with his hand in the nursing home popcorn machine, scooping up a handful of freshly popped popcorn. Not only is the nursing home treat not help-yourself, Dad's upper dentures were inadvertently thrown away by nursing home personnel about a month ago (they are in the long process of being replaced) so he has no teeth with whih to chew solids. But regardless of all of this, Dad is off any intake of food by mouth to minimize aspiration; and until Dad was caught red-handed, we thought Dad was receiving all nutrition by his feeding tube.Our parents make quite the pair I'd say. Even if your Mom is sneeking food behind your back, I hope the casserole wakes up your Mom's public appetite. And if not, if will yours.
