I am seeking information about my valued friend from high school, Jeff Patterson, who perished in Quang Nam province on June 3, 1968. I do not have any unit information on Jeff. Would like to hear from anyone who served with him and remembers him. His birthday is coming up (July 17) and I'd like to take something more than just a fistful of flowers to him this year. I'm posting messages on every USMC board I can find because I don't have his unit info. Surely someone remembers Jeff -- he didn't go to Vietnam alone. Thanks in advance.
