I was a Arty. forward observer for L/3-7 in 68-69. To be honest I do not remember too many (real)names because as you may remember a lot of us had nicknames. Mine was "Sonny" (I guess it was a California thing)I was medavaced twice, once for wounds and the other for maleria. 1st MED and the USS Santuary wasn't so bad. If my memory serves me correctly our "rear" was hill 37 before we moved southward. If I ever find some old photos I took I can scan them and forward to you. Good luck during your search.
