Looking for 2 WIAs Found 1/2 - 3/4 mile NE of North gate Liberty Bridge Jan-Feb 69. Squad leader E5-E6, 30s married with kids & EM Squad leader ordered his guys to chase the NVA leaving them behind. Squad of transients who were waiting for rides at the gate came out to help. Found them in high grass. Sent back for help and a squad led by a LT came out. Medevac at Sundown. Chopper left at dark.
