| I was with E-2/7 from Dec 66 to Jan 68. Highway 1 between the Esso plant and the pass is where Lt Johnson got killed. I went up after it happened and helped medivac the wounded. I can not remember the drivers name, but I think it was a polish or slavic type name. He was tore up pretty bad (stomach wound). It was a long time ago but that's what sticks in my mind.
