My father, John Sopczak was a Gunnery Sgt. He was attached to the 7th Marines as perimeter guard in Chu Lai from 1966 to 1967. I'm looking for anyone who knew him. He passed away on August 21 of this year. I'm trying to find out as much about his military past as I can, being that he didn't really talk much about it. So if anyone knew him, please contact me.
