DARRYL PIPPINS ALPHA 1/7dmtconstruction1@aol.com
Darryl Pippins from Alabama served with alpha company 1st battalion 7th marines 1st platoon 1st squad. Darryl was hit in dodge city east of hill 55 on 16 june 1969 about 1800-1900.Darryl lost both legs and had other wounds,we lost a great marine. Dear Darryl:After the 16th we did not receive any information about you or your condition, the only word passed down was that the chopper went to NSA.We all wanted to believe that the doctors the nurses and our corpsman would get you back to the world, your name is not on the wall and that is a remarkable tribute to the miracle they performed.I hope your life is good,as good as it possibly can be.I hope your environment is secure and peaceful.I hope the individuals caring for you are dedicated, professional and committed to your well-being.I do know that when you report in for guard duty God will salute you,He will honor your courage,He will acknowledge your humble ways and in His reflection He will admire your sacrifice, your self less sacrifice for the freedom and liberty of others. He knows and we all know that they are the very same freedoms and liberties that were denied to you in Alabama. Respectfully submitted,Semper Fidelis, "Tree" Edward M Trzeciak 44Gleason road Scotia,New York 12302
