Hello Gentleman: I am working with the cousin of Greg Harris, who was captured by the VC the morning of 12 June, 1966 while detached with the 3/7 on a routine patrol we believe. The documentation we have found records the events in the 3/7 files. Greg was a radio operator with H Battery, 3/11 and was from Syracuse, NY. If anyone remembers anything about Greg, PLEASE contact me. Even if it is just a story about him, but, any information about the events surrounding his capture would be greatly appreciated. I adopted Greg about 3 years ago via Operation Just Cause and fate gave me Greg. When he was captured I was a week old. Yes, I was born in '66 while you all were in the bush. Also, Greg and I happen to be from the same are of NY. The commonalities do not end there. I so want to help his family find some answers. ANYTHING you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
