C/1/7 '66/'67 Looking for Plt. Sgt. ROBERT IRVING HYMAN ORIGINALLY FROM PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLANDpma@bestweb.net
I am writing on behalf of my brother Corpsman Leonard "Doc" Mancini who served with C/1/7 -he arrived in country March, 1966 and shipped out April, 1967. I know he was in Da Nang and Chu Lai.

For over a year now, I have been trying to locate for my brother Len his dearest friend while serving in Chu Lai....his Platoon Sgt. ROBERT IRVING HYMAN originally from Providence, Rhode Island who was about 32 years of age during that '66-'67 time frame. He'd be about 68 now. Also during that time frame, Platoon Sgt. Hyman transferred over to Delta Co....from Charlie 1-7. I do know Sgt. Hyman was wounded by a white phospherous.....
though I don't know if it was while in C or D Company.

While this post may be a long shot, I was wondering if the name of Platoon Sgt. Robert Irving Hyman or my brother's name Len "doc" Mancini from Brooklyn, NY may have rung any bells with you.
We look forward to your kind replies.
SINCEREST THANKS,
GOD BLESS AMERICA!
SEMPRE FI!
Pamela Mancini
