| Ted, Beth and JackOnce you get the map out you realise how big the world is. As I ride arnoud you see so many people living out their lives just as I do back home. I certainly realise that Europe is a very advanced part of the world from a technology point of view. However all the people I meet have the same issues in their lives- they want the best for their familly, a job , money and they want to be happy. There are people throughout the world with exactly the the same concerns.I wanted to see some places that were not very easy to get to in a normal holiday. I also wanted to ride my bike and tour in some places that would be visually interesting. I like the physical challenge of taking the bike in to the Jungle, the mountains and along the dessert.I enjoy the feeling of being really fit.I also wanted to see other cultures and understand a bit more about this world.Finally I want to make a break from the work life and evaluate if this is what I want to do for the next 15 years.I hope this helps Jack understand why I am on this trip?
