| That's horrible! When my dahguter broke her arm the first time (when she was 4), she was at my mom's house without David or me. Her arm was bent funny too, very obviously broken. (She fell off of the arm of my mom's couch.) My sister drove and my mom held Kate in the car on the way to the hospital. Kate remained on my mom's lap for the ENTIRE TIME- on the gurney, during the Xray, while getting an IV for some pain meds, and when they set it and then casted it. I think it's so sweet that they let her sit on my mom's lap for all of that Poor baby so far from home! I'm so glad she didn't have an experience like you did! (Though it was still traumatizing for her.)
