| Is the only reason why AIG has not potsed a loss is b/c the US's numerous capital injections? Billions were lost in sovereign wealth funds as they got mixed up with mortgage backed securities no too long ago. That's why I'm always leery when I see sov. wealth funds mixed up with real estate investments.I can't really say who's estimate may be closer, but in instances like these, I say guess high, and if you've overshot it, it's a good thing -- it's not as bad as you thought.
